What is slash command?

Typing / in a block editor to open a searchable menu of block types you can insert at the cursor. It is the interaction pattern that replaced formatting toolbars in modern writing tools.

Why slash command matters

It keeps hands on the keyboard at the exact moment when leaving it would break the thought. The measurable effect is that people write during meetings and incidents rather than promising to write it up later, which is the promise that never gets kept.

How Flocci Library handles it

The slash menu is filterable and grouped into Text, Lists, Data, Media and Code, so /tab reaches a table and /cha reaches the chart blocks without scrolling.

Flocci Library is a team wiki and knowledge base: spaces, nested page trees, a 16-block slash editor with tables and charts, @mention backlinks, threaded comments, AI drafting, public share links and org workspaces — one Flocci login across 30+ apps, priced in INR.
