What is knowledge base?
An organised collection of a team's or product's documented knowledge. Internal knowledge bases serve employees — handbooks, runbooks, SOPs — while external ones serve customers as help centres. The distinction matters because the two have almost opposite requirements for polish, access control and review process.
Why knowledge base matters
Confusing the two is the most common tooling mistake in this market. Teams buy a customer-facing help-centre product with review workflows and localisation, then wonder why nobody drafts messy internal notes in it; or they publish an internal wiki outward and leak half-finished thinking.
How Flocci Library handles it
Internal-first by design, with an outward escape hatch: write privately, then publish any single page or subtree as a read-only share link when it should be public. Readers of that link never consume a seat.
Flocci Library is a team wiki and knowledge base: spaces, nested page trees, a 16-block slash editor with tables and charts, @mention backlinks, threaded comments, AI drafting, public share links and org workspaces — one Flocci login across 30+ apps, priced in INR.
