Frequently asked questions

What is Flocci Library?

Flocci Library is a team wiki and knowledge base by Flocci Technologies: spaces with infinitely nested page trees, a 16-block slash editor including tables and native charts, @mention page references that create automatic backlinks, threaded comments, AI drafting, public share links, and organisations with roles and invites — all behind one Flocci login shared across 30+ apps.

Is Flocci Library free?

Personal spaces are free permanently, with the full editor, backlinks, search, public share links and free monthly AI credits — no credit card and no trial countdown. Organisations are ₹49 per seat per month; platform-wide Flocci Pro is ₹499 a month and Pro+ is ₹2,999.

How is Flocci Library different from Confluence or Notion?

Three ways. Pricing is India-first: ₹49 a seat billed in INR via PayU, against roughly $5.42 to $20 per user elsewhere. It is one app in a suite — Projects, Notes, Calendar, Workspaces and Infinity — behind a single login and one credit wallet. And it stays deliberately a wiki, so documentation does not sprawl into databases.

Does Flocci Library have AI features?

Yes. The AI composer drafts a full titled document from a prompt, and improves, expands, shortens, fixes or summarises existing content. It runs through Flocci Intelligence and spends one shared credit wallet; every account receives free monthly credits, and platform credits never expire.

Can I publish a page publicly?

Any page or subtree can be published as a read-only public link that requires no reader login and consumes no seat. You can disable the link or rotate its token to invalidate the old URL. Private sharing to named signed-in collaborators as viewer or editor is separate and also supported.

What block types does the editor support?

Sixteen, from a slash menu: paragraph, three heading levels, quote, callout, toggle, to-do checklist, bulleted and numbered lists, table, bar/line/pie/area charts, image, iframe embed, raw HTML or inline SVG, attachment, syntax-highlighted code block and divider. Markdown shortcuts work as you type.

Does it support real-time collaborative editing?

Pages, links and comments update in realtime across tabs and teammates over websockets, and concurrent saves are protected by a version check that refuses a stale write rather than silently overwriting a colleague. Cursor-level CRDT co-editing is on the roadmap, not shipped.

How do backlinks work?

Type @ in the editor and pick a page; an inline reference chip is inserted and a real edge is added to the link graph, so the target page's Links panel immediately shows the backlink. Chip labels re-resolve from live titles, so renaming a page updates every reference at once.

Can I import my existing documentation?

There is no bulk importer today. The editor understands markdown shortcuts as you type, so pasted markdown formats itself, which makes page-by-page migration fast. Most teams find under a fifth of their old content is actually live and worth moving.

Who builds Flocci Library?

Flocci Technologies, an AI-native software company founded by MD Afsar Hussain — a former SAP Labs India senior engineer — in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India, building 30+ interconnected SaaS products. Flocci hosts its own 574+ pages of product documentation in Library.

What is the best Confluence alternative for a small team?

For teams under 50, the best Confluence alternative is a wiki that keeps spaces and nested page trees without enterprise pricing. Flocci Library offers exactly that — spaces, page trees, comments, search and sharing — at ₹49 per seat per month instead of roughly $5.42 per user, with AI drafting included.

Which team wiki is cheapest per user?

Among the tools we track, Flocci Library is the lowest published per-seat price at ₹49 per month (about $0.56). Slab is $6.67 per user past its free ten, Confluence about $5.42, Notion $10, Slite $10, GitBook $12 plus a $65 site fee. Guru and Document360 publish no price.

Is there a knowledge base priced in Indian rupees?

Yes. Flocci Library is built in Ranchi, India and billed in INR through PayU at ₹49 per seat per month, with free personal spaces. Almost every alternative prices in US dollars, which leaves Indian teams paying an exchange-rate-linked bill for documentation.

Can I share a wiki page publicly without making readers sign in?

Yes. Any Flocci Library page or subtree can be published as a read-only share link that anyone can open with no account. Readers never consume a paid seat, and you can disable the link or rotate its token at any time to invalidate the old URL.

Which wiki software has automatic backlinks?

Flocci Library creates backlinks automatically: typing @ inserts a live page-reference chip that becomes a real edge in the link graph, so the target page's Links panel lists every page referencing it. Renaming a page re-resolves every chip, so references never break.

Can a wiki page contain charts and tables?

In Flocci Library, yes — tables plus bar, line, pie and area charts are native block types inserted from the slash menu. Most team wikis stop at tables and require an external embed or a screenshot for charts, which goes stale the moment the underlying data changes.

How do teams stop documentation from going stale?

State each fact once and reference it everywhere else. In Flocci Library an @mention chip re-resolves the live title so renames never break links, and the target page's Links panel lists every dependent page — giving you an automatic checklist of what to update when a fact changes.

Does Flocci Library include AI writing?

Yes. Describe a document and the AI composer returns a full titled draft; select existing content to improve, expand, shorten, fix or summarise it. It spends one credit wallet shared with every other Flocci app, and every account receives free monthly credits that never expire.
