Why Flocci Library exists
A decade at SAP Labs — SAP Cloud ALM and a petabyte-scale data infrastructure trusted across 100+ countries — taught the founder two things enterprise software has to get right: knowledge must be written down, and a save must never quietly clobber a colleague’s edit. Flocci Library is both of those convictions in one product. It isn’t a wiki that happens to live in another tab; it’s one room in a five-app workspace — Notes, Projects, Calendar and the Infinity whiteboard alongside it — that inherits a single identity, real-time streams and full-text search from a shared core. Its optimistic saves carry an If-Match check that turns a concurrent edit into an honest 409 conflict instead of a silent overwrite. So what your team learns, your team keeps.
From SAP's enterprise core to 80+ products
A B.Tech from BIT Mesra and an M.Tech from BITS Pilani set the foundation for more than ten years as a senior engineer at SAP Labs India, shipping SAP BusinessObjects Cloud and Cloud ALM at a scale most engineers never touch. Then MD Afsar Hussain left to test a conviction: that one builder could stand up an entire ecosystem on a single shared core — ERP, POS, HRMS, D2C, work apps and AI, each new vertical measured in weeks.
The architect's move: build it once, inherit it everywhere
Library never rebuilds the hard parts. Identity and cross-app single sign-on, the Socket.io realtime layer, DeepSeek-backed draft and enhance, even the platform Graph that watches every space’s lifecycle — all of it is inherited from the one Hono core that powers all five Work Apps. That “once-at-core, many-domains-inherit” discipline is the reflex of an enterprise architect: at SAP, millions of users ran on one shared platform, and Afsar rebuilt that instinct at startup speed.
